3. Re: get Default WorkManager JBoss 7.1.1
jbertram Nov 5, 2012 10:03 AM (in response to iabughosh)You should be able to invoke getWorkManager() on the BootstapContext which is passed to your javax.resource.spi.ResourceAdapter implementation when start(BootstapContext) is called by the AS7 JCA implementation. I don't believe the WorkManager is accessible any longer via an MBean.

iabughosh Nov 14, 2012 1:17 AM (in response to jbertram)Thank you Justin for your reply, I've implemented a JCA and it worked, but do i have to Implement a JCA just to get the JBA7 WorkManager ?

If you want to use the JCA WorkManager then you'll have to implement a JCA Resource Adapter. The JCA WorkManager was never valid to use outside of a JCA RA in the first place.

marcgagnonpincourt Jan 28, 2013 7:45 AM (in response to iabughosh)Please look at this discussion thread as it will clarify a lot: https://community.jboss.org/message/718053
Correct me if I'm wrong but you are trying to do parallel work from inside your application using a workmanager because that seems to be the right way of using thread from inside a JEE application...
If that is what you are trying to achieve, using a workmanager in JBoss 7 is NOT the right approach and the discussion thread mentioned above will definitly clarify things.

hasnainraza3 Feb 26, 2014 3:48 AM (in response to jbertram)Thanks for your reply i have implemented your solution and its working but having one problem, i have two ear and i have added connector project to both the ears but when second ear is deploying server give exception that your resource adapter jndi name is already bound.
