nickarls Oct 15, 2012 8:53 AM (in response to erasmomarciano)You can get some basic info e.g from the CLi with
[standalone@localhost:9999 /] /subsystem=web/connector=http:read-resource(includ
e-runtime=true, include-defaults=true, recursive=true)
but AS7 doesn't have the /status servlet like previous versions.

I'd like monitoring the jvm threads alone of the my webapp.

ssilvert Oct 15, 2012 4:35 PM (in response to erasmomarciano)I think jconsole is your best bet. Between jconsole and the integrated CLI GUI you should be able to browse through everything that is monitorable.
Using jconsole to connect to JMX on AS7
Using CLI GUI with jconsole on JBoss AS7
Using the CLI remote client jar
I'd suggest that you also try out a nightly build of AS7.2. AS7.2 provides a lot more stats for web apps. In CLI GUI, browse:
/deployment=MyWebApp.war/subsystem=web/
Lastly, I'm trying to decide what to do about real-time monitoring and graphing. At one point I implemented this, but we disabled it. Is this something you would be interested in?
