1. Re: is ISPN-1936 fixed? For infinispan.. too many open files in Linux
markaddy Sep 11, 2012 3:47 AM (in response to abhishekatverse)Hi, try setting the file synchronization mode to per write:
{code:xml}
<loader class="org.infinispan.loaders.file.FileCacheStore"
...
purgeOnStartup="false" >
<properties>
<property name="location" value="/pathToStore"/>
<property name="fsyncMode" value="perWrite"/>
</properties>
</loader>
{code}

abhishekatverse Sep 12, 2012 2:35 AM (in response to markaddy)Hi Mark
This did not help. Still I am getting "too many open files" after setting this and a restart.

galder.zamarreno Oct 31, 2012 3:32 PM (in response to abhishekatverse)We're experimenting with a file cache store that uses less files, but in the mean time I'd suggest using another cache store, i.e. JDBM, Berkeley, JDBC cache store, Cassandra.
