1. Re: steps to debug JSF app on Eclipse deployed to Jboss as 7.1
maxandersen Mar 8, 2012 12:55 PM (in response to samyomar82)1 of 1 people found this helpfulConfigure you server and instead of Run Server use the Debug Server which will start the server in debug mode automatically.
Now you can set breakpoints etc. and the server will be configured to load the right source for your deployed projects.

samyomar82 Mar 8, 2012 4:08 PM (in response to maxandersen)Thanks Max.
But under which node should I create this configrations ?? Gereric server, generic server (external server), Java application , remote java application Or J2ee preview ???
when I tried generic server node , I did not find Jboss as 7 in the servers combo box.
somebody said that we have to create it under remote java application then add the port and IP, but i dont think that this will be the same in case of local server.

maxandersen Mar 8, 2012 5:40 PM (in response to samyomar82)Doesn't sound like you have jboss tools installed ?
If you have jboss tools installed then under File > New > Server is two categories named JBoss Community and JBoss Enterprise containing the proper server adapters.
