1. Re: JBoss AS 7.1 Security Domain configuration in EAR
jaikiran Feb 28, 2012 11:20 AM (in response to fcorneli)You can't configure a security domain from within deployments. However, you can refer to a configured security domain from the deployment.

3. Re: JBoss AS 7.1 Security Domain configuration in EAR
fcorneli Mar 1, 2012 10:53 AM (in response to fcorneli)I've got one more problem to tackle. My custom LoginModule calls an EJB to perform the actual authentication/authorization check. The problem is that I need to be able to exclude this one bean from the security domain else I run into a chicken-and-egg problem. So how to express this in the jboss-ejb3.xml descriptor? No, I don't want to use the @SecurityDomain annotation on every EJB bean except this one bean. I want them all to live per default within the security domain, except this one bean. My jboss-ejb3.xml looks as follows for the moment:
{code:xml}
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<jboss:ejb-jar xmlns:jboss="http://www.jboss.com/xml/ns/javaee"
xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"
xmlns:s="urn:security"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.jboss.com/xml/ns/javaee http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/schema/jboss-ejb3-2_0.xsd
http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/ejb-jar_3_1.xsd"
version="3.1"
impl-version="2.0">
<assembly-descriptor>
<s:security>
<ejb-name>*</ejb-name>
<s:security-domain>eid-example</s:security-domain>
</s:security>
</assembly-descriptor>
</jboss:ejb-jar>
{code}

method_ben_qc Mar 1, 2012 2:30 PM (in response to fcorneli)Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't a solution for your problem ;-(
I use annotations instead of descriptor files to specify the SecurityDomain of EJBs.
I have a big problem that I can't figure out. Can you take a look at this https://community.jboss.org/thread/177999
Thx
