If you want to avoid this situation suspend the transaction when you interact with the read-only caches.

sudheerk84 Feb 22, 2012 4:06 AM (in response to mircea.markus)Yes you are right , they do not cause any network traffic, only extra processing happens in local vm. I have raised a jira for teh same https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ISPN-1877.
As you have mentioned in my case i will suspend teh transactionw hen i intercat with read only caches.
