rhusar Nov 4, 2011 11:23 AM (in response to alihamza7)1 of 1 people found this helpfulHey Ali,
everything that can be configured in AS7 in the configuration file (ie standalone.xml) is validated by the schema. While the documentation and examples are being written for certain components you can always check the schemas. For LDAP you want to look at this file:
jboss-as-7.1.0.Alpha2/docs/schema/jboss-as-config_1_1.xsd
For example
<xs:attribute name="url" type="xs:string" use="required"> <xs:annotation> <xs:documentation> The URL to connect to ldap. </xs:documentation> </xs:annotation> </xs:attribute> So the url will be defined as attribute, etc
url="ldap://myurl"
and so on. I dont know about how many things are implemented and whether they work.

alihamza7 Nov 8, 2011 10:37 AM (in response to jaikiran)Thanks for the links. That is exactly what I was looking for.
However, I'm running into Naming exception where the referals are not being followed in the LdapExtModule.
I've got the setting for referals to "follow" but it doesn't seem to help.
Ofcourse, that is another issue so I'll start another discussion.
Thanks again,
