1. Re: Configure JVM settings for Standalone Mode from command line
wdfink Oct 31, 2011 1:03 PM (in response to rraposa)1 of 1 people found this helpfulFrom command line you might use the environement JAVA_OPTS.
Set the variable before calling standalone.sh, but remember that you overwrite all default settings of the standalone.conf.
Other option is to add a line to standalone.conf
if [ -n "$MY_OPTS" ]; then
JAVA_OPTS="$JAVA_OPTS $MY_OPTS"
fi
This append your options to the defaults, a command line like this is possible:
MY_OPTS="-Xmx1024m" standalone.sh ...

2. Re: Configure JVM settings for Standalone Mode from command line
rraposa Oct 31, 2011 1:13 PM (in response to wdfink)Wolf-Dieter - thanks for the reply!
It does not appear that passing in the JVM options as command line arguments is practical at this time, so I will open a JIRA. The comment in the docs about passing command line arguments w/ standalone.sh needs to be either removed or clarified.
Thanks!
