1. Re: Non-existent files already exist in defaultPackage?
tob1as Jul 24, 2011 9:20 PM (in response to tob1as)Ok sorry,
I found it. A hello.ftl was archived. I restored that file. Imported it in eclipse. Replaced the file with the latest version and then committed it back to guvnor.
However, it does not make much sense to me that I got this error message, if the file was in the archive and not in my package folder.

tsurdilovic Jul 25, 2011 1:52 PM (in response to tob1as)Yeah the archive feature can seem annoying in your situation, but is really helpful in others (if for example someone by mistake deletes an asset, via archives you can retrieve it back, like what you did).
For versioned assets in a package, to actually delete an asset, you would archive it first, then go to the Administration tab -> Archives, select the archived assets and click on the Delete button. Then they are gone for good.

shamalk Jun 13, 2012 5:17 AM (in response to tsurdilovic)I would suggest at least include this information in the error message: Hello.ftl already exists/archived in http://...../defaultPackage
