2. Re: root context and mod_rewrite
augustsimonelli Dec 1, 2010 3:59 PM (in response to jfclere)Just tried 1.0.5 but same result :-(
Does mod_cluster *append* to the context asked for? So if i have:
RewriteRule ^/(.*)$ balancer://uat/sample/$1 [P,L]
it assumes, when i go to my.url/ that i'm asking for context/subdir, ie:
root_context/sample
and not just "sample" only (does that make sense?). (IE it's saying "find me root_context and attach sample subdir to it" rather than
here is the root of the url and go get sample from JBoss and serve it under it).
I've not tried 1.1 but i am using EAP so may not have that option …
Also apache is httpd-2.2.14-1.2.6.jdk6.ep5.el5 (EWS)

3. Re: root context and mod_rewrite
augustsimonelli Dec 2, 2010 3:49 PM (in response to augustsimonelli)Just gave 1.1.0 a try ... but had the same issue. As soon as the root context appears my rewrite works ...
LOVE 1.1.0 btw - gonna ask Red Hat to get that into the EAP/EWS stuff.
