1. Re: Installing and running Jbpm5 demo setup...
krisverlaenen Dec 6, 2010 2:37 PM (in response to fabianpc)This is usually the case when you are trying to run the application with a Java version that is less recent than the one the designer was built with. The designer currently requires Java6 to run, so make sure your application server is running using Java6. Let us know if this helps.

fabianpc Dec 27, 2010 12:14 PM (in response to krisverlaenen)Hi Kris.
Finally, I read the file: http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbossrules/contrib/designer/readme.txt, and this indicates that it requires Java 6. But when I make the deployment of the file: designer-1.0.0.026-SNAPSHOT.war, the editor does not run correctly. I try http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbossrules/contrib/designer/designer.war file, then the editor is run.
Greetings.
Fabian.

Yes, the designer war that works for you is an older version that should work for all browsers. The only downside is that that version is still using an older version of the BPMN2 specification. Version 026 is more recent but only works on Chrome (some strange javascript loading issue). We're currently updating to the latest version of the designer, so we will be updating that soon with a newer version using the latest BPMN2 specification and supporting multiple browsers again.
