1. Re: Searching Content in File System Connector
rhauch Aug 2, 2010 9:01 AM (in response to simon.g)Thanks, Simon.
No, this is not the correct behavior. :-) I've logged this as MODE-840, which I will investigate today.

Also, I was trying to get the search result score from the row object, and got a javax.jcr.UnsupportedRepositoryOperationException.
You don't happen to still have the stack trace for this, do you?

4. Re: Searching Content in File System Connector
rhauch Aug 2, 2010 3:59 PM (in response to simon.g)I was trying out the File System Connector, in particular the full text search capability. With a structure like
- workspace1
- dir1
- test1.txt
- foo
- test1.txt
- dir2
- test2.txt
- bar
- test2.txt
- dir1
Do the "foo" and "bar" represent the content of the files? That's different than the UnsupportedOperationException (see MODE-840, which I've just resolved), so I've logged the failure to index the binary content of the files as a new issue under MODE-841. I'm sure that's a bigger problem for you. Unfortunately, we're in the final stages prior to issuing the 2.1 release (which should be released tomorrow, Aug 3), so -841 won't make the 2.1 release. Instead, I've targeted it to the 2.2, which has a number of smaller features and additional maturation of the JBoss AS deployment.

5. Re: Searching Content in File System Connector
simon.g Aug 3, 2010 2:49 AM (in response to rhauch)foo and bar are content indeed. Luckily the 2.2. release is planned for mid August, so I don't have to wait too long for the fix .
Thanks
Simon
