Hi All,
I've recently downloaded JBoss Messaging 2.0.0.BETA4, and followed the instructions outlined in http://docs.jboss.org/jbossmessaging/docs/quickstart-2.0.0.beta4/html/index.html.
I am running in on a clean install of Windows 2003 Standard Edition (x86) with the Java JDK 1.6.0_21 installed.
I'm attempting to run it, by executing run.bat but I receive the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: and Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: and at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) Could not find the main class: and. Program will exit.
I have trawled through the site and through the docs for an explanation for what the problem actually is but I am unable to find one.
Can anyone please advise why this error is occurring and what I can do to resolve it?
I should also point out that I am not a Java developer (am a .NET developer) so if it is something simple please forgive me!
TIA
Memia
