1. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
vblagojevic May 15, 2010 6:27 PM (in response to vblagojevic)In JBT, is there a way to verify, before deployment time, that all managed beans attributes/method references in EL are actually valid?

2. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
akazakov May 16, 2010 12:42 PM (in response to vblagojevic)Code completion and verification for managed beans in EL should work as soon as you add JSF capability for your project (or if you used New JSF/Seam Project Wizards).

3. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
vblagojevic May 16, 2010 2:24 PM (in response to akazakov)It does not work for me - at least using latest nightly build. I did not declared my managed beans in faces-config.xml; faces-config.xml is essentially empty; I used annotations to annotate all the managed beans.

4. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
akazakov May 16, 2010 5:23 PM (in response to vblagojevic)Ok. You use JSF 2. Unfortunately JBT doesn't support annotated maned beans yet. See https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-5045

vblagojevic May 18, 2010 10:39 AM (in response to akazakov)Ok thanks Alexey. The fix version for the JIRA is marked as "LATER". Hopefully this will be added sooner rather than later

6. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
maxandersen May 19, 2010 8:40 AM (in response to vblagojevic)Any reason why you don't just use CDI managed beans ?

7. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
vblagojevic May 19, 2010 10:01 AM (in response to maxandersen)No reason. Using CDI is going to enable code completion?

8. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
maxandersen May 19, 2010 10:33 AM (in response to vblagojevic)We decided to focus on CDI for this release since CDI beans is better on all fronts compared to JSF Managed beans.
Thus yes, if you use CDI today in JBT 3.1 it will provide code completions for it in EL.

9. Re: Code completion for attributes of managed beans in EL?
akazakov May 19, 2010 10:48 AM (in response to maxandersen)But don't forget to enable CDI support then. Propject Properties->CDI (or Right click on the project->Configure->Add CDI Support).
