1. Re: "Open Selection" not working for "local" EL variables
akazakov Apr 13, 2010 2:15 AM (in response to laixer)Could you show the source of "list" variable?

2. Re: "Open Selection" not working for "local" EL variables
laixer Apr 13, 2010 8:10 AM (in response to akazakov)Okay I screwed up that example. It should have been.
<rich:dataTable value="#{seamComponent.list}" var="_localVariable">
<h:outputText value="#{_localVariable.property}" />
</rich:dataTable>@Name("seamComponent")
public class SeamComponent
{
public List<Something> getList() {
}
}
if you perform "Open Selection" on the "list" property, SeamComponent.java will open and focus on getList().
If you try to do it on the "property" of the local variable, nothing will happen.
It used to actually open the property on the referenced object.

3. Re: "Open Selection" not working for "local" EL variables
akazakov Apr 13, 2010 9:38 AM (in response to laixer)Are you sure it worked in JBT 3.0 for the same example? I couldn't work there.
This issue https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-4758 was supposed to fix this problem. But id didn't. I've created a new one https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6179

4. Re: "Open Selection" not working for "local" EL variables
laixer Apr 13, 2010 9:42 AM (in response to akazakov)No, I'm not sure if it was 3.0 but it definitely worked at some point.
