seto Feb 23, 2007 12:12 PM (in response to fady.matar)FCKEditor, it's so powerful and easy to integrate. Follow the Simone's article to set the servlet and use the fck-faces project in the sourceforge to support jsf.

gus888 Feb 23, 2007 5:05 PM (in response to fady.matar)Hi Seto, could you give a link to the Simone's article? I don't know whether it can be integrated into Seam project. It will be great if FCKeditor can be integrated into Seam UI.

fady.matar Feb 23, 2007 5:35 PM (in response to fady.matar)wouldn't it be a good idea to have something like <s:richtText> in Seam?
I'll integrate this component and try to include it in the ui tag library. I'll upload the details to the wiki -

here is the article, just refer to it to set the servlet supporting upload and browse files, and use the fck-faces in sourceforge to use with jsf. BTW, the fck-faces has the bug of not supporting width and height. You should follow the thread in forum to fix it.
I have it correctly working. And I'm writing code to support automatic upload, when I paste it from local. Use the regex to check the url if it's with a refernce to local. -

fady.matar Mar 20, 2007 7:06 AM (in response to fady.matar)I have tested TinyMCE before and it was working just fine, came as a perfect replacement but now as soon as JBoss Seam was updated to version 1.2 the editor is no longer working, data in it is always null. Any hint?
