granby Sep 21, 2005 3:45 AM (in response to granby)Ok. I posted a feature request: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/EJBTHREE-298
There is only a few methods in the application (not the tutorial exampel) for which I need a longer timeout. I know that you can set a query timeout but this is not a query. Can I accomplish this in any practical way? -

tim.shaw Sep 19, 2007 5:00 AM (in response to granby)Jboss 4.2.1GA
I have a 'setup' which takes ages (>20 mins) to generate the data I need. I tried the @TransactionTimeout method annotation but can't find it in the jars.
Is this available, and where is it please? If not, is there another approach I can use ... it's only for a few, known, long-lasting methods - not for general use!
Thanks -
4. Re: How set transaction timeout at method level?
wolfc Sep 19, 2007 7:13 AM (in response to granby)It's in jboss-annotations-ejb3.jar. Make sure that your method starts the transaction or else the transaction timeout has no effect.
