1. Re: using rich:contextMenu in action column to navigate to another page causes render issues
michpetrov Nov 23, 2015 5:18 AM (in response to arnieaustin)When you navigate to another page in an ajax request JSF replaces only the body of the page, so if you do not have the resources on page A they will not be on page B. You can get around it by using packed resources but I wouldn't recommend doing navigation like that.

arnieaustin Nov 23, 2015 9:07 AM (in response to arnieaustin)Ok, what would you suggest? A pair of command links? What if a situation requires several commands? All those commands would result in column content that makes the row height more than 1 row.
In RF 3.x, I've used this scenario for years.

michpetrov Nov 23, 2015 10:41 AM (in response to arnieaustin)I'm guessing it's because of the changes in JSF but I have very little experience with RF 3 or JSF 1.2. You can try switching the menu to server mode, that should make items behave like standard h:commandLinks.
