Howto Block DNS Lookup in Jboss 5.1

hi,

currently we have a jboss installation using jboss 5.1.

if we open following url http://10.0.0.27:8080/portal everytime jboss tries to dnslookup for 10.0.0.27 and change url to http://name-of-server:8080/portal. is there a way to block this and only use ip adresses?

operating system: ubuntu 14.04 lts

Is your JBoss running on 0.0.0.0 bind address ?

Can you try running it on a particular address as following:

./run.sh -c default -b 10.0.0.27

Do you have any Proxy (Load balancer) between the client and JBoss ?
