Solaris is not a supported platform for running Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio. We support Windows, OSX, and Linux.

there is no easy way to install jbdevstudio on solaris, but it is probably possible with these steps:

1. Download eclipse distribution for solaris from http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/R-4.5-201506032000/;

2. Start it and install "Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers" from "Mars - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/mars"  repository;

3. Restart and follow Bring Your Own Eclipse installation options here.

Yes. we support Developer Studio on Linux, OSX and Windows.

Solaris should in theory "just work" and you can follow Denis instructions on how to install Developer Studio into your own solaris eclipse version.

But yes, we don't test/support on Solaris desktop systems as is now.

We are happy to answer questions on it though - just not guaranteed it will work
