Can we have some details on the changes planned for [ISPN-5414] Support (named) parameters in DSL based queries - JBoss Issue Tracker

We have a similar requirement where we want to avoid parsing on same query being used with just parameters changed in where clause.

We are having a system where access is done completely through queries and as its very slow we expect this change to improve the performance.

Can we have design or discussion around this to be in sync that our understanding is same as planned changes ?

Or we would like to contribute and implement the change ourselves.
