    HornetQ deprecated from Wildfly 10 - why?

      Evening all,

       

      I learned to my amazement this morning that HornetQ is to be deprecated from Wildfly 10, in favour of ActiveMQ.  It is confirmed in this Task on the Wildfly JIRA board: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFLY-4592.

       

      I have searched high and low for a justification, rationale or even a roadmap that might explain this, but found nothing apart from repeated references to this decision elsewhere on that board.

       

      Does anyone have an insight into why this is being done?  It will sure have an impact on my roadmap in the next couple of years.
