I have installed Jboss Studio 8.0.0 GA and Jboss Data virtualization 6.1.0 Beta. Now I am trying to create a Teiid Instance so that I can create the View models and preview the same.
I tried to create a new server and from the list chosen Jboss EAP 6.1.0 , provided the home directory same as jbdevstudio\runtimes. But while downloading getting the Proxy error as below.
Are you behind a proxy? If so, you need to tell Eclipse/JBDS how to use the proxy.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know the offline instructions to download this Teiid instance without going through proxy ?

Eclipse 4.4 is what JBDS 8 is built upon, so I guess you want Teiid Designer 9?
Not sure why it lists 9.0 Final twice. I suspect both will work.
I believe he is asking for the runtime, not the tooling.

But since you seem to be on a network that requires a proxy then that is not something we can help circumvent except by getting on a network that does not require a proxy or find the instructions for how to get access to download through the proxy.

I was able to solve this problem by enabling the EARLY ACCESS for Jboss studio version 8 and then in software updates I was able to get the data virtualization developement environment. once I install that now I am able to find the Teiid designer perspective, Thanks all for your help.
