ctomc Oct 15, 2014 7:47 AM (in response to c.weithoeft)Hi,
you should be using wildfly plugin not jboss-as one.
all quickstarts for wildfly have docs about this https://github.com/wildfly/quickstart
see WildFly Maven Plugin - Introduction for more about plugin

Thank you for your reply. One problem is that I have tried to let the Eclipse JBOSS plugin fetch the quickstart. But from your comment I conclude that it points to the wrong githup repository.
From where should I download the quickstarts. Any URL for a total download of all quickstarts?
Follow up:
Hi Tomaz
I had another look at what I had downloaded and at last I found the small button on the github pages to download all quickstarts.
To make it run I changed the settings in ~/m2 back to the original and did a import into Eclipse from the downloaded .zip archive.
Reading the README.md it looks as if you have to do:
"mvn clean install wildfly:deploy"
which will deploy the .war file
and of cause the URL looks a little different:
http://localhost:8080/wildfly-helloworld/HelloWorld
I can't make Eclipse do a "run on server", but that is something else. Not for this discussion.
