jamezp Apr 22, 2013 12:43 PM (in response to sharath.r)1 of 1 people found this helpfulThere is no 32-bit or 64-bit version. You can run it on either a 32-bit or 64-bit JVM. You can download load JBoss AS or a $0 subscription JBoss EAP 6.1.Beta version at http://www.jboss.org/jbossas/downloads/.

2. Re: jboss application server 64bit
wdfink Apr 22, 2013 3:37 PM (in response to sharath.r)1 of 1 people found this helpfulEach JBoss can be started by using a 32 or 64bit Java.
Current Installations include mostly 64 Java.
The biggest difference is that a 32bit VM is restricted in the amount of memory, typicaly 1GB up to 4GB depend on the OS.
Some applications with a small memory footprint might be perform better wit the 32bit VM but this must be measured for each application.
The JBoss itself is, as every Java application, the same nevertheless whether it is 32&64bit Java.
