RichFaces with Mojarra 2.2

Hi,

last week I tested RichFaces 4.3.0.Final with JSF 2.2. Since I couldn't find MyFaces 2.2, I tested only Mojarra 2.2.0-m08. There is a bug in Mojarra 2.2.0-m08 (and m09) [1] that prevents deployment of applications with Mojarra 2.2 and Weld. I'll give a try to next release (2.2.0-m10) which is scheduled on March 4.

Thanks for looking at this Pavol,

Have you tried testing RichFaces against 4.3.0.Final without having Weld present? Any errors there?

I know of a different bug with Multi-JSF and Weld. There is a workaround. Maybe this helps?

Stan, thanks for workaroud. I totally forgot about that.

Meanwhile I found out that MyFaces publishes 2.2 snapshots in their repository [1].

RichFaces 4.3.2 or 4.3.1 seems to have problems with JSF 2.2. We have been using rich:autocomplete in JSF 2.1 and RichFaces 4.3.1 without any problems but since our system's upgradation to JSF 2.2 we have been having problems with rich:autocomplete, rich:dataScroller and rich:extendedDataTable etc ... autocomplete and extendedDataTable esp don't populate at all and it really is annoying, rich:autocomplete is triggering ajax, we can see the list is peing populated from db but it doesn't show the suggestions at all on the page ... Please fix this bug as soon as possible. Thanx!
