1. Re: HornetQ Rest: JMS message without ID?
rhuiser Jun 28, 2012 4:41 AM (in response to rhuiser)Is this a bug or is there a good reason why messages are pushed to the queue without an ID?
Please enlighten me before I start to fix something which isn't broken (by design).

jbertram Jun 28, 2012 11:32 AM (in response to rhuiser)To my knowledge, the messages should retain their ID.

3. Re: HornetQ Rest: JMS message without ID?
jbertram Jun 29, 2012 12:36 PM (in response to jbertram)I believe I see what is causing this. The internal (i.e. core) message ID is being set, but the JMS message ID is not being set because the message isn't sent as a JMS message (it is sent via HTTP using the REST API).

4. Re: HornetQ Rest: JMS message without ID?
rhuiser Jun 29, 2012 2:35 PM (in response to jbertram)So, this is not a bug (works as expected) what I understand, but you cannot use a JMS browser (such as Rockeye of HermesJMS or even the JBoss admin console) to manage the messages which were sent via HTTP using the REST API.
What would be a solution since I would definitely want to be able to move/delete/edit messages sent by the REST API...
Thanks for helping me and thinking along with me on this,
Robin
