Hi, I am using windows 7 OS. I am configuring JBoss for High Availability and failover. I have to run both node in a single machine. I unzip JBoss in two fidderent places in my machine.
I made following changes in hosts file:
I changed HTTP/1.1 port and AJP/1.3 and redirect port in for both instance.
When I started node1 it started successfully but when started node2 It gives exception that port 8083 is already bind.
How can i run two instances in same machine sotaht I dont get any exception?
What else changes I need to do?
Hi Wolf-Dieter Fink,
When i googled to find out about how to run 2 instances ( actually one Jboss server but 2 ports) of jboss, this discussion came up. My problem is that I have JBoss 6.1.0 Final version. And i want to run same web application in 2 different ports (Say one for development-8080 and other for QA testing -8180), i can have 2 mysql servers for those 2 web application. Appriciate if you could provide me a step by step guide to do this with JBoss 6.1.0 Final version. I had a look at https://community.jboss.org/wiki/AS5ServiceBindingManager, but i didnt exactly get what need to be done.
