Which is suitable Standalone or Domain Mode for production environment ??

Hi,

We have 2 instance of Dev, 4 for QA and Production each. We have already configured Standalone mode in Dev and now we are planning to move to Domain mode. Wanted to know how complex it is to manage the Domain mode when it comes to Production. Also few questions for which we are looking an answer

1. if domain controller fails then will it effect on all other instance ?

2. can we keep domain controller and host controller(of other application) in the same machine?

This seems related to your other question here standalone mode clustered servers deployment

1) other instances will show error messages until the DC is back
2) no problem

But you should not add server instances to the domain controller to have it separated.
