you will find examples in the documents mentioned above. The essential thing is that you need to set a flag ....:read-resource(include-runtime=true) for such attributes
Here the example for the ExampleDS:
/subsystem=datasources/data-source=ExampleDS/statistics=pool:read-resource(include-runtime=true)
