But what you mean by testing, the only thing is to force filling the pool which will fail if the connection parameter are wrong.

by testing i mean that to test the database connection whether works or . Like quantum on eclipse . to make datasource can make the connection with all the properties in place .

wdfink Dec 17, 2012 5:30 AM (in response to khadeer78)Until JBoss AS6 you are able to edit the attributes via http://<host>:8080/jmx-console such changes are non persistent.
If you are set the flag for prefill-pool the connections will be opened during startup and you see the failure here and not delayed until the first use.
A real test can be only made by the application and configuration, i.e. check whethter the tables are correct.
