vjosh Sep 9, 2012 2:49 AM (in response to dgolovin)Hi,Denis
Thanks for a reply.
yes, i tried installing it via Eclipse MarketPlace & via url given in above post.
i think it is the problem of Eclipse version vs Jboss Tools Versions.
Few months back, i downloaded the eclipse indigo m7 from eclipse website and the installed the jboss tools 3.3 version, on windows & on ubuntu as well.
but, due to some problem i lost the backup of it.
now, when i tried to install jboss tools 3.3 version with newly downloaded version of eclipse indigo 3.7.2 SR2 , it is not getting installed it gives the errors which i mentioned above post.
Now,they replaced the version of eclipse m7 with 3.7.2 SR2
that is why the problem has come up.
i am installing the as per the version given on the below page , but getting errors while installing J.T.
http://www.jboss.org/tools/download/installation/update_3_3
Any suggestions, as what to do next in such situation.
Waiting for your reply .......
One more thing Denis, when i tried to install J.T. via any method via. (marketplace or url mentioned) it starts downloading & completes 48% but after that it gives the above mentioned error.
i think it is definitely the problem of J.T. Jar compatibility vs. Eclipse Version of P2 repositories.
hi
one last thing is, it might be the version conflict of j.T hibernate tools version vs. eclipse p2 repositories, as i have just installed forge tools just now now it is not giving the error, but while it comes to the installation of JT hibernate tools it gives the errors. as i guess from the above error.

baz Sep 10, 2012 2:17 AM (in response to vjosh)Hello,
do you try to install the complete JBT 3.3?
I have installed it several times on top of indigo SR2 with success
There seem to be some issues when you use 64bit java. e.g. the visual editor is not working
But hibernate install gets installed wether 32bit or 64bit
So my guess would be, that you are trying to selectively install only some components of JBT.

dgolovin Sep 11, 2012 2:25 PM (in response to vjosh)Also please try http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/JBossTools-3.3.1.Final.core as update site to install any component of JBoss Tools. I just verified bundle mentioned in original post. I downloaded it form http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/JBossTools-3.3.1.Final.core/plugins/org.hibernate.eclipse.console_3.5.1.v20120715-0252-H98-Final.jar and used md5sum to check MD5 hash and it matches expected one.
eskimo@dgolovin-desktop:~/Projects/jbds-build/jbosstools-src$ md5sum ~/Temp/org.hibernate.eclipse.console_3.5.1.v20120715-0252-H98-Final.jar

It works fine for me for all mentioned scenarios. It could be a problem with proxy server or cache.
