AS7 MBean HtmlAdaptor

Hi,

jconsole is a nice tool to check my mbeans, but what I really miss, is the possiblity to change a value of a mbean member through URL.

In AS4 we have something like:

/jmx-console/HtmlAdaptor?action=inspectMBean&name=de.sam.facebook%3Aname%3DfacebookConfigId

Change the value in the input field and submit .. done (pretty nice for simulators and selenium).

Can't find my mbeans there.

Hi there,

There are two options that you may consider:

1) Use jolokia, that will allow you to have a restful access to the JMX management tree(and more!). Have a look at the project web site for more information. http://www.jolokia.org/

2) Use the old jmx-console application ported to JBoss-7. Have a look at this thread here https://community.jboss.org/thread/195149
