iabughosh Jul 10, 2012 5:08 AM (in response to mohammad.juma)1 of 1 people found this helpfulwell, deploying on Websphere is a bit YUCKY, anyway here is the steps:
1-add this jar (com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.jar) to your WEB-INF/lib directory.
2-create a class for ibm injection provider, ex: provider.IBMWas7InjectionProvider, find the attached file.
3-add this param to web.xml file :
<context-param>
<param-name>com.sun.faces.injectionProvider</param-name>
<param-value>provider.IBMWas7InjectionProvider</param-value>
</context-param>
4-you have to configure the server by creating new shared library contains JSF2 & RichFaces 4 libraries and its dependencies, for example :
/jsflib/jsf208/jsf-api.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/jsf-impl.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/el-api.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/hibernateCR1.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/hibernatevalidator.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/validation-api-1.0.0.GA.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/guava-r09.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/slf4j-api-1.6.1.jar
/jsflib/jsf208/slf4j-simple-1.6.1.jar
5-deploy your app and point to the shared library,don't forget to choose "Classes loaded with local class loader first (parent last)" option under class loading and update detection.
6-run your app and have fun.
