Running GateIn Portal thanks to Eclipse server plugin

Julien Deruère Newbie

Hello,

I tried to run GateIn with eclipse server configuration. I downloaded GateIn bundle with tomcat, I created a new environment in eclipse pointing on GateIn location, I create a new server, and when I run, the server start but it's not working, nothing happend.

How can I configure GateIn to be run with eclipse wst server environment?

Thanks,

    Hello,

I manage to start gatein-tomcat from eclipse like this :

    • Configure a new tomcat6 server runtime to point to your gatein-tomcat directory (with JRE 6 indeed)
    • In servers view, new > server, choose the runtime created above, save
    • double click on server, open launch configuration > Arguments
    • add this to the VM arguments : -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote -Dexo.product.developing=true -Dexo.conf.dir.name=gatein/conf -Xms512m -Xmx1500m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -Dorg.exoplatform.container.configuration.debug -Djava.security.auth.login.config=../conf/jaas.conf
    • in working directory, choose gatein-tomcat/bin

    Now start your server.

    HTH

    Hi,

    For this error,

java.io.FileNotFoundException: JAR entry conf/configuration.properties not found in U:\GateIn\lib\exo.core.component.xml-processing-2.4.2-GA.jar

I set the JAVA_HOME variable, and the working folder.
