bmsantos Jul 22, 2011 9:42 PM (in response to skroll)Scott,
Thanks a lot for the logging info. As you specified, I was able to use the org.slf4j module. In addition to it, I also had to include org.apache.commons.logging module.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<jboss-deployment-structure>
<deployment>
<dependencies>
<module name="org.apache.commons.logging"/>
<module name="org.slf4j"/>
</dependencies>
</deployment>
</jboss-deployment-structure>
Also, I could not remove:
logback-classic-0.9.26.jar
logback-core.0.9.26.jar
How did you set it with log4j? Did you include any libs directly or just the available AS 7 module?
Regarding xuggle, I've only tested it in XP. Which platform are you using?

skroll Jul 25, 2011 2:20 PM (in response to bmsantos)For log4j support all I did was remove the logback jars and import the log4j module. However, I deleted that configuration so I can't say with certainty, but it didn't take me more than a few minutes.

bmsantos Aug 2, 2011 9:53 PM (in response to bmsantos)Folks,
In order to have this thread properly closed, I've put together a simple article on how to have Red5 working under JBoss AS 7:

Thanks

zenzei2k Oct 4, 2012 11:28 AM (in response to bmsantos)Hi Bruno!
I'm having same problems regarding Jboss 7-Red5 integration, any chance to see the http://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossAS7Red5MediaServerAndXuggler article? It says "Not authorized".
Regards!

bmsantos Oct 4, 2012 12:27 PM (in response to zenzei2k)Nico, it seems that JBoss.org is experiencing or has expired content. Not sure what's going on, but I can't access it myself.
You can go here for the end result anyway: http://riaconnection.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/jboss-as-7-and-red5-media-server/

bmsantos Oct 4, 2012 12:39 PM (in response to bmsantos)I've also reported the issue to JBoss.org and I'm sure that the great folks at JBoss will have it fixed sometime soon.

zenzei2k Oct 4, 2012 2:24 PM (in response to bmsantos)Thanks Bruno for the quick answer!
One question maybe you know, I manage to deploy your ear in Jboss 7.1.x and don't see errors on startup.
The demos start, but it seems not to do anything. For example If open two chat clients, no matter what I type, they "texts" didn't seem to reach the server. Or in the shared ball demo, when moving the ball in one client, the other client doesn't seem to reflect the change.
When running the "port tests" demo, only working ports are RTMP default and RTMPT default, all others says "Failed". Maybe has something to with that?
Thanks in advance!
