1. rich:fileUpload RF4 working locally but not in production
ppitonak Apr 18, 2011 8:37 AM (in response to sparrowhawk)Hi David,
please have a look into Component Reference (http://docs.jboss.org/richfaces/nightly_4_0_X/Component_Reference/en-US/html_single/#sect-Component_Reference-Rich_inputs-richfileUpload). It contains a lot of useful information about file upload component.

sparrowhawk Apr 18, 2011 8:42 AM (in response to ppitonak)Ah. Very helpful -- I didn't realize there was a nightly version of the component reference. What is the default value of org.richfaces.fileUpload.createTempFiles?

iabughosh Apr 18, 2011 8:43 AM (in response to sparrowhawk)1 of 1 people found this helpfulDear David,
fileUpload by defaults loads the file in memory, if you want to upload the file on the local disk you can set the context param
org.richfaces.fileUpload.createTempFiles
to true, and the context paramorg.richfaces.fileUpload.maxRequestSizes
for file upload size.regards.

fkj Apr 30, 2012 2:50 PM (in response to iabughosh)I'm porting an application from 3.3.2 to 4.2.1
What about the getFile() method? UploadedFile doesn't have it.
