Migrating webservices deployed in JBoss 4.2.1 to JBoss EAP 5.1.0

Hi,

I am in the process of migrating webservices deployed in JBoss 4.2.1 to JBoss EAP 5.1.0. In my case an EJB is exposed as a webservice. Is JBoss EAP 5.1.0 backward compatible with webservices deployed in 4.2.1 or are there any deployment changes I need to make. Is webservice deployment different in EAP 5.1.0 ? I sincerely appreciate suggestions in this regard.

AFAIK there are some changes of annotation (packages) if you use jboss annotations.
Also some deployment descriptors are not deployable because JB4 did not check the XML but JB5.

My simple attemps (I did not wirk with webservices ATM) looks working with JB4 or JB5
