1. Re: Version 3.3.4 (stable Release)
blabno Dec 21, 2010 6:44 AM (in response to jfischer81)3.3.4 is not planned to be released soon.
Why don't you build trunk?

jfischer81 Dec 21, 2010 7:18 AM (in response to blabno)Hi Bernard,
we do have an angrily problem with hanging threads in this context.
Do you have a more detailed answer concerning the date for the stable version of 3.3.4?
Could we count on it maybe in 1 or 3 or 6 months?Cheers,
Jürgen

3. Re: Version 3.3.4 (stable Release)
blabno Dec 21, 2010 7:22 AM (in response to jfischer81)We need to wait for Jay to give any date. If the problem is so urgen then I would checkout 3.3.3.Final tag, then applied patch (revision) that solved the problem and build and use such version.

jfischer81 Dec 21, 2010 7:50 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Hi Nick,
damned, but I think you are concentrating for 4.x...
We should choose now Bernard´s suggestion concerning a patch solving that problem.

7. Re: Version 3.3.4 (stable Release)
jbalunas Dec 21, 2010 10:52 AM (in response to blabno)This too is exactly what I would purpose. You can follow instructions here How To Build RichFaces Snapshots Manually (3.3.x) and just apply to the 3.3.3.F tag if you are concerned about other items resolved in 3.3.4-SNAPSHOT ( /trunk ).

8. Re: Version 3.3.4 (stable Release)
jbalunas Dec 21, 2010 10:54 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Nick is correct here, we are not planning on a 3.3.4 release at this time. There is enterprise support available through JBoss, but if there is not an option patch, and build a version for yourself.

rohangpatil Apr 7, 2011 2:30 AM (in response to jfischer81)Hi,
We are also facing the same issue. Can you please let us know if the issue is fixed in the 4.0.0.Final release.
We would also like to know if we would face any major problems when we migrate from 3.3.3.Final to 4.0.0.Final version of Richfaces.

10. Re: Version 3.3.4 (stable Release)
jbalunas Apr 7, 2011 7:31 AM (in response to rohangpatil)This issue should not be a problem in RichFaces 4. The implementations are completely different. I have not specifically seen this issue, but have not specifically looked for it either.
As for migration - I recommend reviewing our migration guide - RichFaces Migration Guide. 3.3.x - 4.x Migration.
