I'm considering using Weld on a current project, but it doesn't support AS 5.x, and I don't know if we can wait for AS 6.AS-6.0.0.M1 has already been released and it already has Weld support.

If you already are a EAP client then the better place to ask this question is through the support channel. If not you will have to contact sales http://www.jboss.com/products/platforms/application/

2. Re: JBoss 6.0 Roadmap
turtletsg Nov 5, 2010 2:07 PM (in response to jaikiran)I have a new JBoss AS6 Roadmap question-
The documentation seems to be a bit sparse, so forgive me if this is already answered somewhere. Is clustering supported/will it be supported in AS6? If so, is it available in the current milestone M5, and is there any documentation for setting up clustering on JBoss?
Thanks!

jaikiran Nov 6, 2010 9:39 AM (in response to turtletsg)Is something specific missing from the JBoss AS6 docs here http://jboss.org/jbossas/docs/6-x? If so, then let us know.

I just checked that and it seems that many of the chapters (including the Clustering ones) are empty. Let me see what the planned roadmap is for docs.

6. Re: JBoss 6.0 Roadmap
turtletsg Nov 8, 2010 10:52 AM (in response to jaikiran)Thank you for your response. Yes, almost all of that documentation is either empty or actually copies of AS5 documentation. I took a look at those relevant JIRAs and wasn't able to pick out any helpful information.
All I really want to know is what is planned on being supported and by when. If parts have already been released, then a pointer to documentation on how to set it up would also be nice. I am new to JBoss entirely, so I am not familiar with the system.

8. Re: JBoss 6.0 Roadmap
shelly.mcgowan Nov 9, 2010 12:17 PM (in response to turtletsg)The documentation updated for JBoss AS 6 can be found on the JBoss AS Official Documentation Page. I'm working on the Getting Started Guide which I intend to have available for the 6.0.0.CR1 release next week.
Also, if an EAP client uses JBoss AS 6, how does that affect the subscription support?
