Mapping HttpService to JBossWeb

Thomas Diesler Master

https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBOSGI-308

This is what I found to dynamically register a servlet instance with an  existing context

http://java.sun.com/javaee/6/docs/api/javax/servlet/ServletContext.html#addServlet%28java.lang.String,%20javax.servlet.Servlet%29

So far, I did not find how I can register the context itself nor how I  can add static content (i.e. resources) to it.

To make this work more effective I assigned  https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBOSGI-308 to you (Remy) so you can  provide us with the necessary pointers to documentation. When done, please assign back to me or to whoever can make the next  progress step.

> What is wrong with the Servlet 3 API

Possibly nothing if it sufficiently documents how to  create/modify/delete contexts and populate them dynamically with servlet  instances and resources.

Perhaps you can take the four methods from HttpService  (http://www.osgi.org/javadoc/r4v42/org/osgi/service/http/HttpService.html)  and map them to whatever you think is appropriate. I can map addServlet  to the Servlet 3 API. How about the other methods?
