2. Re: rich:calendar and ondateselected event problem in 3.2.0.
mindgame Apr 3, 2008 12:42 AM (in response to mindgame)fheldt, thanks for the hint. But wondering what "ondateselected" is for. According to the documentation, it still says this "attribute is used to define an event that is triggered after date selection"?
Any insight? Thanks. -
3. Re: rich:calendar and ondateselected event problem in 3.2.0.
fheldt Apr 3, 2008 5:25 AM (in response to mindgame)From http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-2600
Try to use ajax event="onchanged" instead of "ondateselected" to submit new calendar input value on server.
Event "ondateselected" is event is invoked when new date is selected, but it hasn't been applied to the calendar input. That's why the server date value is set to the previous value of calendar input. -
4. Re: rich:calendar and ondateselected event problem in 3.2.0.
mindgame Apr 3, 2008 6:27 AM (in response to mindgame)Thanks again.
Hopefully, future releases will not affect currently implementation, which uses "onchanged" instead of "ondateselected". I just replaced all "ondataselected" with "onchanged" :) -

7. Re: rich:calendar and ondateselected event problem in 3.2.0.
dr3342 Apr 3, 2008 9:30 PM (in response to mindgame)Thank you very much. I've been trying to figure this one out all day today.
In fact there is another thread that may be related. http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=132931
Another thing to note about the documentation is that I even tried the so called reRender attribute of the rich:calendar tag but it didn't work either.
