currently CDL uses a Hypersonic DB. In another thread we talked about using other databses as an alternative, e.g. MySQL. Its no problem to write a MySQL-Script, a suitable Hybernate-File and to post it here. But I would like to install CDL on a cluster. With the Hypersonic-DB each node has its own tables, with a MySQL the nodes will share the tables. I haven't looked into the code yet, would it work with shared tables, too?
Yes, It should be working fine with the shared table. Actually, you are also able to make the HSQL DB as a standalone database, and then connect to that database from each of AS node.
The configuration in cdl-ds.xml should be using the connection-url like: jdbc:hsqldb:hsql://localhost.
I will add the mysql-specific sql in the following days.. ;)
