    toplevel folder in distribution-tar

    weberj

      Hi,

      a little distribution enhancement:

could you please store the toplevel folder into the distribution-tar.gz?

So the tar's root folder would be blacktie-1.0-M3-bin

same as the jboss-5.0.1.GA.zip's contained root folder is jboss-5.0.1.GA

      Thanks,
      Juergen

(PS: the JBoss AS JIRA account is not valid for BlackTie's JIRA, is it?)

          Hi Juergen,

That sounds like a sensible idea to me, we use maven to package the zips so I will look at the option for including the artifactId-version in the top level for MR4 and above.

In terms of the AS JIRA account, I guess it should likely work? If you are saying you cannot access the BlackTie Jira pages I can certainly look into this for you.

          Tom

I am logged into Jira, I can browse JBoss AS issues, but when I goto
            https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/BLACKTIE
            I get PERMISSION VIOLATION.
Seems there are different Jira rights for BlackTie and AS.

              Hi Juergen,

You will be happy to find that the blacktie jira has been altered to allow registered users the "browse project" permission.

Sorry for the delay in resolving this issue!

                Hi Juergen,

As requested, Milestone 4 has the folder name in the top of the compressed file.
