    I think the best  / fastest way to collect requirements for the JBoss AS migration tool is to do a quick survey. I've looked at a couple of public / free survey tools and am willing to give LimeSurvey a try (http://jboss.limequery.org/). Red Hat maintains a number of mailing lists which might be usefl but I also think we need to gather broader input so I'm going to target JBoss networks on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

     

    I need help crafting some of the questions - what do we need to know to build the most useful tool(s) ? To get the ball rolling - here are my first two questions :

     

    Q1. Which Web / Application Servers are you most likely to migrate FROM :

     

    Apache Tomcat 5.5
    Apache Tomcat 6.x
    BEA Weblogic 8.x
    BEA Weblogic 9.x
    BEA Weblogic 10.x / Oracle Weblogic 10gR3

    Q2. Are the applications you want to migrate written to be completely J2EE / Java EE compatible ?
