      hi all,

how to hit Jboss AS 4.0.2 with the URL "demo.domain.com" instead of "http://localhost:8080"

also would like to take out port no.

      thanks

If you want to access JBoss from other systems you have to ensure that the bind address is not localhost, might be 0.0.0.0 or the real IP address of the system.

For local access you might use a simple entry in your host configuration. If you try to use it from extern you need a DNS or a forwarding.
