JNDI Service on Jboss AS 7

Socket binding decalarations suggests that jndi service should be running on 1099 port. But actually it does not run at all. I have gone thru some threads that hints at remote EJB is still not supported in AS 7.

When can I expect that feature to be available in AS 7?

Hi Shankar, AS7-1709 says in 7.1.0.CR1 timeframe so as Jira hints here the date is around 08/Nov/11.

Hi Shankar, I expect the first implementation to be done in aobut 4 weeks, but that is just a guess. You can periodically check for updates on the related Jiras -- tab "Source code" and then just build it yourself (you know how to, right?).
