How to access the list of following tasks (or previous tasks)

Hey there,

I'm pretty new to jpbm and I'm not that familiar with how it works etc.

What i understood so far, is that a process is defined by a .bpmn file. That process can be started via a java main class. All the nodes / tasks are run through automatically and i wonder if or how i can get access to the list of the tree of tasks that are following after a certain task.

I think i just found out myself. In the Java doc you can see that every node(task) has a list and a map of incoming and outgoing connection.

But maybe you can tell me, how i can get the current node?

Ok, beware.. if you are creating human task the best way to retrieve and query all the human tasks is using the human tasks APIs and not the low level API that allows to get the node names of your processes. Cheers

If you are using the jbpm snapshots (5.2.0-SNAPSHOT) you can take a look at the AsyncTaskService and TaskService class. Both interfaces that allows you to query the informaiton about your human tasks and also interact with them. If you are using older versions you should take a look at the TaskClient class that has that logic.
