swiderski.maciej Aug 3, 2011 2:46 PM (in response to tomarenz)Take a look at screen cast that should illustrate what you ask: http://docs.jboss.org/jbpm/v5.1/userguide/ch15.html

tsurdilovic Aug 3, 2011 8:29 PM (in response to tomarenz)The docs for designer are somewhat outdated, we have been working on that recently. You no longer have to use eclipse editor to make a bpmn2 process executable. We just released the newest designer version 1.0.0.054 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/jbpm/files/designer/) which includes a number of bug fixes and adds support for onEntry/onExit actions to task nodes, as well as process imports and globals.

3. Re: how to import .bpmn files into drools-guvnor
tomarenz Aug 4, 2011 8:54 AM (in response to tsurdilovic)I stopped demo, installed the new designer (1.0.0.54) into jboss and restarted demo.
The evaluation example is no longer listed by drools-guvnor, while it still appears in the console.
Any idea ?

console looks at your package pkg for assets, so you may have removed the evaluation process from your package , but not rebuilt it? designer does not have any influence on that.

tomarenz Aug 4, 2011 12:53 PM (in response to tsurdilovic)I reinstalled all twice, same result. I don't even know how to remove a process from the repository, I can't find any remove button or alike.
Btw I can't see the new menu item "new work item definition" as described in a video suggested within another topic.

In order to delete any assets in guvnor, you first have to open this asset. The asset's editor has a toolbar where you should be able to do: File->Delete or File-Archive. If you archive the asset, again in Guvnor navigate to Administration->Archives and permanently delete the asset there if you want.

Since that feature has been recently added to Guvnor, and no release has happened since, you would need to build Guvnor from master (https://github.com/droolsjbpm/guvnor) in order to see the workitem definition editor right now.

tomarenz Aug 5, 2011 2:57 AM (in response to tsurdilovic)Ok, thanks.
Is there any plan to write/release a deisgner-specific manual ?
The property area is particularly complex in terms of involved semantics.

For an open process, the File tab contains SaveChanges,SaveAndClose,Archive. There is no Delete item.

tsurdilovic Aug 8, 2011 11:17 AM (in response to tomarenz)Ok, in this case you should Archive the asset, then go to Administration->Archive and delete the asset perminently if you wish.
