npereira Jul 17, 2011 5:56 AM (in response to johnesky)Hi Jo,
you can check the following post http://community.jboss.org/message/615421
Although nobody ever told if it was the correct way to do it or not, I could see the results.
Hope it helps.

johnesky Jul 18, 2011 11:57 AM (in response to johnesky)Thanks guys, I have successfully been able to confgure jbpm 5, Tomcat 6.0 and Postgresql in the same enviroment and almost everything works fine. The human processes are stored in my postgres database and I see all clear. All tables are persisting to my postgre database through hibernate and persistence. But my processInstanceLog and NoteInstanceLog is not persisting and I have done according to the documention but I am not making any progress. Can anyone help with a guideline or telll me what I may be doing wrong. I am using bitronix for Transaction manager.

calca Jul 18, 2011 12:37 PM (in response to johnesky)Hi,
Do you have these,
in your persistence.xml?
Are you registering the db logger?
JPAWorkingMemoryDbLogger logger = new JPAWorkingMemoryDbLogger(ksession);
You can check the user guide,
http://docs.jboss.org/jbpm/v5.1/userguide/ch07.html#d0e2836
Hope it helps,
Demian

5. Re: Configuring Persistence
johnesky Jul 18, 2011 1:20 PM (in response to calca)Thanks for answering. Yes I have in my persistence file:
I have a question though. Is it right to keep the persistence xml file in the jbpm-bam jar package and add as library for the web application you're integrating with JBPM, because that was where I kept it.
Yes I also have
JPAWorkingMemoryDbLogger logger = new JPAWorkingMemoryDbLogger(ksession);

a_nat Aug 22, 2011 7:44 AM (in response to johnesky)Hi Jo,
One quick question. Where did you configure the logger.?
i.e., JPAWorkingMemoryDbLogger logger = new JPAWorkingMemoryDbLogger(ksession);
I normaly start all my process from the server and hence would liek to know the file / jar name to include / modify the above line.
